Duties: Sr Plumber
Responsible for complex plumbing tasks, provides technical guidance to technicians, assists with coordination, and ensures compliance in plumbing systems throughout a hospital facility. Leveraging extensive expertise, this role is critical in maintaining essential services that directly impact patient care, safety, and infection control.
Required Qualifications: Sr Plumber
* Minimum of four years plumbing experience around machinery required.
* High school education or equivalent required.
* State of Nebraska Journeyman Plumber/Fitter license required.
* Basic computer, email, and database skills required.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of customers (e.g., patient care providers, patients, visitors, management, etc.) required.
* Mechanically inclined and proficient with plumbing tools, drain cleaning equipment, and diagnostic devices required.
* Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics required.
* Current valid motor vehicle operator license and ability to meet and maintain insurability required.
Preferred Qualifications: Sr Plumber
* Master plumbing license preferred.
* Familiarity with healthcare facility systems (medical gas, biohazard waste lines) preferred.
