Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-driven Production Control Assistant to help keep our manufacturing operations running like clockwork. This role is responsible for scheduling, coordination, and tracking of production activities. You will monitor sales orders, materials, timelines, and quality standards to make sure they are all lined up perfectly.

  • Studies/monitors production schedules for release of jobs to production based on PIMs, due dates, and material available
  • Checks sales order reports and presents Sales with PIMs based on orders and sales history
  • Enter jobs, labor, material issues, and material transactions into ERP system
  • Run reports on production-related functions
  • Compiles information for job efficiency
  • Verifies completeness and accuracy of labor data, compiles piece work rates for payroll
  • Verifies material issues to jobs and completed job orders to resolve discrepancies
  • Analyzes job orders for errors before closing
  • Performs various tracking of data entry, maintenance, and validates transactions in ERP system
  • Other duties as required

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating between departments both verbally and written
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet shifting priorities
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred focus on Excel

 Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of proven related experience, manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint and CRM systems, ERP software experience preferredvv
